Project Overview
The goal of this three-year project is to deliver a run-time system, incorporated into the GEO open-source environment, to optimize task-based parallel programs that are subject to a power constraint.
While most parallel programs executing on supercomputers today are written in MPI, task-based languages such as Legion are growing in popularity. This project investigates the effect of power constraints on such fine-grain task-based languages.
